Joyeux Noël / Merry Christmas
The Christmas Candle may be a little dimmer in 2020, but thanks to the heroic efforts of the Mairie, Royal Château Amboise and the musicians of Nazelles-Négron it has not been extinguished.
Three cheers for the local council. It is to be congratulated for pulling out the stops to decorate the town as it does every year. Children old and young say a big thank you to everyone involved, it really is appreciated.
Three cheers also to Royal Château Amboise. Frustrated but not defeated by the changing Covid regulations this holiday season they went ahead with their decorations anyway. It takes spirit to work so hard knowing very few will see the results. Photograph France was among the few privileged to record the magic of the Château for the general public and of course for the children.
Finally, a gigantic thank you to la Musique de Nazelles-Négron whose Christmas video is so moving, especially so since the forty-five musicians confined to their homes have not been able to practice together since March. How, one wonders, did they achieve it? We have the utmost respect for them. Please head over to their YouTube channel and show your support.
